PENTA Scanner® Cube is part of SITA’s new Scan&Fly self-service bag drop solution

24 check-in counters at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport are being equipped with a new self-service bag drop technology.

With SITA’s new Scan&Fly self-service bag drop technology, passengers at the Moscow Airport will be able to drop off their luggage in less than a minute in the future.

The system is equipped with the PENTA Scanner® Cube and a handheld barcode reader. It just takes three steps to drop off luggage: First, the passenger scans the printed or digital boarding pass and prints the luggage tag. The passenger then attaches the tag to the luggage and places it on the conveyor belt.

This new solution makes baggage check-in fast and easy. By the end of the year, 24 check-in counters at Domodedovo Airport will be outfitted with the new self-service bag drop.
